Platform Comparison

Devfood vs klikit

klikit charges a percentage — 0.5–3% on payments and 2–5% on Webshop orders on top of the subscription — because its job is to sit under every channel you sell on, including the marketplaces. Devfood charges a flat, published peso price for your own channel only, with the branded apps, the driver app and multi-language inside it and nothing on top per order.

What klikit is

klikit is a Southeast Asian restaurant operating system built around aggregator consolidation: orders from GrabFood, foodpanda, GoFood and 20+ other delivery platforms land on one tablet, beside a POS, a kitchen display and menu management. Its Core plan is the POS, KDS and dashboard; the Omni add-on brings the delivery integrations and a commission-free Webshop; Grow adds CRM, loyalty and a kiosk mode. klikit lists seven countries — Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore — and prices per market on request.

How this page is written

Every klikit cell below states only what klikit publishes on its own website — no review-site figures, no analyst numbers. Where they publish nothing, the cell says not published rather than claiming the feature is missing. The pages we read and the date we read them are at the bottom, so you can check any row yourself in one click.

Scorecard: 6 to Devfood, 3 to klikit, 6 level — by our own reading of the 15 criteria above. Read the rows, not the tally.

  1. 1. Commission on orders — klikit’s Webshop page and pricing page describe the same orders differently — "No commission fees ever. You only pay a small monthly subscription fee" against "+2–5% on Webshop orders". Both are live on klikit.io; ask klikit which applies before you budget.
  2. 2. On-demand delivery networks — klikit’s delivery integrations are the marketplaces themselves (orders arrive from GrabFood or foodpanda), not on-demand couriers for your own orders. The row is scored for klikit because, for a Manila restaurant that lives on those apps, one tablet for all of them is worth more than a white-label fleet.
  3. 3. Priced in local currency — klikit’s own Philippines guides publish two different starting prices — "₱1,499/month" (21 April 2026) and "Pricing starts at PHP 999/month" (26 February 2026) — while klikit.io/pricing says "get in touch for a quote". This file quotes neither as the price.
Their Case

When klikit Is the Better Choice

We would rather you buy the right thing than buy ours. These are the cases where that is not us.

GrabFood and foodpanda are most of your orders

klikit was built to put every marketplace on one tablet with one menu sync, and it names 20+ of them. Devfood does not pull GrabFood or foodpanda orders into its screens — it builds the channel you own — so if consolidation is the problem you are solving, klikit solves it and we do not.

You want the till and the kitchen screen in the base plan

POS and KDS are inside klikit Core, with GCash, Maya, cards and cash at the counter and BIR-compliant receipts named in its Philippines guide. Devfood’s register and kitchen display are optional add-ons to the ordering platform, quoted separately.

You operate across the SEA markets klikit lists

Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan are on klikit’s country list with market-tailored pricing. Devfood publishes a Philippines price and supports 100+ countries, but the Philippines is the only Southeast Asian market it prices locally today.

Our Case

When Devfood Is the Better Choice

You want a peso price you can read, with nothing on top per order

Devfood’s Philippines price is ₱1,156 a month for one to three locations, published on /pricing, and no percentage is charged on your orders — you pay your own payment processor’s rate directly. klikit’s pricing page publishes percentages and no monthly figure.

You want your own apps in the App Store and on Google Play

klikit’s Webshop is a mobile-first website. Devfood publishes native iOS and Android apps under your brand on every plan, alongside the web storefront.

You deliver with your own riders

The driver app with live GPS and distance/load/vehicle auto-dispatch is included, plus DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Shipday and Nash where they operate. klikit publishes no driver app.

Questions

Devfood vs klikit FAQ

What does klikit cost per month in the Philippines?

klikit does not put a monthly figure on its pricing page — it says "We tailor pricing to your market so you only pay for what you use — get in touch for a quote." Two of its own Philippines guides give different starting prices, ₱1,499 a month and ₱999 a month, so we record both and quote neither as the price. What the pricing page does publish is the percentage: 0.5–3% on payments processed on Core, and 2–5% on Webshop orders on Omni.

Is klikit commission-free?

Its Webshop page says "No commission fees ever. You only pay a small monthly subscription fee." Its pricing page lists the Omni add-on, which includes the Webshop, at "+2–5% on Webshop orders", and notes that klikit "may charge fees in certain jurisdictions above and on top of regular payment gateway MDR fees". Ask klikit which statement applies to your account. Devfood charges no percentage on any order.

Can I use Devfood and keep my GrabFood listing?

Yes — Devfood is your own channel and does nothing to your marketplace listings, but it also does not consolidate them: a GrabFood order still arrives on the GrabFood tablet. The flat price is the point; the orders you move to your own app stop costing a percentage.
